The African Studies Program loans material culture items, films, and books to schools, colleges, universities and community groups across Wisconsin.
Material Culture
The African Studies Program has varied items that can be loaned to interested parties, including clothing, jewelry, religious items, toys, household items, decorative items, and instruments. We also have three Discovery Boxes currently available for lending.

Films
The African Studies Program has an array of videos available in both in DVD and VHS format that can be lent to interested parties. To browse our video collection, look for a specific title, search for films by country, or read film summaries, download our ASP Video Collection guide (pdf). Book Baskets
The African Studies Program has a selection of age-appropriate Book Baskets available for loan. Bring a selection of critically acclaimed Africa-related books into your classroom and open up new worlds for your students. You may borrow an entire basket for your classroom, or request individual titles.
Lending Collection Practices & Policies
Videos, books, material items, and discovery boxes are all available for loan from the African Studies Program office.
