Lending Collections

The African Studies Program loans books, films, and material culture items to schools, colleges, universities and community groups across Wisconsin.  All items are housed in the program office at University of Wisconsin – Madison and available to ship directly to your classroom free of charge!

Book Baskets

The African Studies Program curates a large collection of Africa-related books and thematic Book Baskets. Our collection includes novels, biographies and non-fiction, and graphic novels for all reading levels, from elementary schools students through high school. Bring a selection of critically acclaimed Africa-related books into your classroom and open up new worlds for your students!
