Introduction

The African Studies Program includes a broad range of disciplines in which students at the graduate and undergraduate levels may develop their study of Africa. The Program's interdisciplinary courses and faculty span some 27 departments in six colleges and schools (Letters and Science, Education, Agriculture and Life Sciences, Journalism, Music, and Law).
The Program has also pioneered in the field of African Outreach programs in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest. Listed below are some resources available through our outreach programs.

• Passeport à l'Afrique Francophone, our ASP produced DVD/video outreach resource for the French language classroom is now  available! Click the above link for video clips, curriculum units, and additional information.
• We have also reduced the number of photos and graphics on our site to make it quicker to load and faster to use. If it's Africa pictures you're after, go to the more than 4,000 that we have made available at Africa Focus.
• ASP's video catalog, a collection of films from and about Africa for use in schools and colleges. The African Studies Program assists in the selection of films for purchase, reviews new films, and produces listings of films of high quality for use in the school and college curriculum.
