The African Studies Program has a selection of highly acclaimed Africa-related books available for loan to educators. The books are primarily fiction, but also include autobiographical works, folktales, graphic novels, picture books, young-adult novels, and novels for older students.
Book baskets are available to educators free of charge. Our baskets are arranged thematically, by reading level, and by the country that they cover. Educators who would like suggestions or any help in assembling a customized basket can contact the African Studies Outreach Coordinator at outreach@africa.wisc.edu
