This presentation examines how social studies teachers elaborate and represent Africa in their classrooms, and how such teaching impacts the image of Africa in students’ minds.
Speaker’s Bio:
Dr. Anne Jebet Waliaula graduated from Ohio State University in the summer of 2011 with a PhD in Education. Her research interests include social studies, global studies, multiculturalism, and African studies.
