Megan Skalitzky is a senior undergraduate student majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a certificate in Global Health and Leadership. She has found a passion in studying infectious diseases and methods to assist the infected population. During the summer of 2017, she had an internship in Uganda where she worked with the nonprofit Health Access Connect that helps to establish mobile clinics in the rural villages. In addition, she has volunteered and established a student organization for the nonprofit Ebola Survivor Corps that works to empower Ebola survivors in Sierra Leone. Megan loves going to badger games, going on runs, and spending time with family and friends.
