African Language Linguistic Limbo Challenge

Why study an African language? 2015 - CutOut_StudyAnAfricanLanguage

The African Studies Program invites you to show us your figurative flexibility by creating a pun, catchphrase or slogan to encourage your friends and neighbors to study an African language!

UW-Madison’s African languages are Zulu, Hausa, Yoruba, Wolof, Swahili and Arabic.

Submit your pun BEFORE May 15 for a chance to have your language-themed tagline featured in future language publicity campaigns. The winner will also receive an African Languages & Literature t-shirt!

Multiple entries will be accepted.

Please post your pearls on the African Studies Program Facebook event page and don’t forget to invite your friends!
