The Department of African Languages and Literature will host a festival next Friday to showcase African languages, literature, and cultures.
Students learning Arabic, Basaa, Hausa, Somali, Swahili, Yoruba, and Zulu will present skits, videos, songs, music, poetry and more. Immediately after the showcase, there will be a dance party featuring DJ Phil Money and Paddy Cassidy on the Djembe. Light refreshments will be served.
