SUMMER STORIES from Africa is a series of fresh reflections from our students, faculty and alumni researching and studying on the continent. Since its debut in 2015, SUMMER STORIES has highlighted brief, but memorable moments, insights or observations that might happen in tandem or extend beyond work or research.
These short insights may be inspired by current social or political happenings, a new friend or an experience on public transportation.
Are you traveling in Africa this summer? Let us know! Submit a SUMMER STORIES piece for consideration. All published stories are featured on the African Studies Program website.
How to participate:
Submissions will be published on a rolling basis. Please send submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration anytime between May 1-August 1, 2016.
Submissions should be approximately between 250-700 words. Please attach any photos we may use with your post, including caption and credit.
