Day in Africa brings together high school students from across Wisconsin to explore the languages and cultures of Africa in sessions led by UW-Madison faculty, students, and staff. Many of the sessions will incorporate this year’s theme of popular culture in Africa.
We will need all kinds of volunteers, so whether you are people-friendly, have photographic skills or know how to run a digital projector, we need you!
Volunteer are needed from 8:30am to 1pm on Monday April 24 in the Union South. You can choose to volunteer for the whole time or part of the time (For example – 8:30-10:30am or 10:30-1pm).
All volunteers are invited to attend the musical performance during the closing ceremonies featuring the Afro-Pop Band Kikeh Mato.
