After 40 years of dedicated work, Michael Schatzberg, Professor of Political Science and African Cultural Studies, announced his retirement at the end of the Spring 2018 semester.
Please join us in celebrating Professor Schatzberg’s career in an African Studies Program Symposium featuring scholars influenced by his work on Saturday, October 13, 2018.
The symposium will be followed by an afternoon reception including remarks from from friends, colleagues, and alumni. An evening dinner will be held in Professor Schatzberg’s honor.
