DAY IN AFRICA welcomes high school juniors and seniors from across Wisconsin to explore the languages and cultures of Africa in a variety of sessions led by UW-Madison faculty, students, and staff.

Schedule and Sessions
DAY IN AFRICA features a variety of sessions where students explore everything from East African clothing, to the music that conquered apartheid in South Africa, to the literary works of renowned African authors. Get the schedule and check out the list of sessions, times, and locations.
Registration
To register your school, fill out this online form. Deadline to register is Monday, February 3, 2014.
Participation in DAY IN AFRICA is on a first-come, first-served basis. As soon as the maximum number of students and teachers are confirmed, registrations will close.
Cost
Participation in DAY IN AFRICA is free to registered school groups. A limited amount of financial support may be available to schools outside Madison to help defray transportation costs. Contact outreach coordinator Anne Waliaula for details.
