Ladson-Billings ranked fifth in national list of top influences on education policy

The Capital Times featured African Studies affiliate and Education Prof. Gloria Ladson-Billings after she was ranked fifth in a national list of top scholars to influence education policy and practice.

According to the Cap Times, the Edu-Scholar Public Influence Rankings use “a scale that looks at widely cited publications as measured by Google Scholar, number and sales of books published and mentions on the internet and in educational and general press” to determine the top 200 ranked individuals.

Ladson-Billings leads a list of five UW-Madison professors who were also ranked in the top 200.
