We invite paper and panel proposals addressing West Africa-focused research from faculty and graduate students in all disciplines. The goals of the conference are to build a Midwest regional community of West African scholars; provide a space for scholarly exchange focused on West Africa; enhance research and teaching collaborations, and create mentoring opportunities. The call for proposal is now closed. Please visit the conference webpage and click here to register.
The conference will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 26-27, 2022. Presenters will be organized into thematic panels of 3-4 presentations. All sessions will take place on the Zoom platform.
