The Multicultural Fall Ball is almost here, and the African Students Association is excited to invite you to walk in their Fashion Show and come out to support the event.
Sign up to walk in the Fashion Show!
There are no restrictions, and you don’t need to worry if you’ve never walked in a show before. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or background. You don’t have to be African to join—the Fashion Show is open to all countries and cultures, with the goal of representing the diversity on campus.
Each year during the Fall Ball, the main event is the Multicultural Fashion Show. People of all races, ethnicities, and cultural identities are encouraged to walk and represent their culture. If you have cultural clothing, we encourage you to sign up and participate. Don’t be shy—rehearsals are held to help build confidence and create a sense of community. This is a fun event for everyone, from freshmen to seniors, so come and show off your cultural outfit!

If you don’t have cultural clothing, feel free to walk with your flag, or simply wear formal attire. The goal is to celebrate diversity in any form!
Multicultural Fall Ball
The Fall Ball will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, at Varsity Hall, Union South. This is the biggest event of the year, featuring food, music, performances, and the Fashion Show. The Ball marks the conclusion of Africa Week, during which the African Students Association partners with cultural organizations across campus to host this grand celebration.
Come and support by representing your country—whether by walking in the Fashion Show, waving your flag, or cheering on others from the audience.
Don’t forget to invite your friends and spread the word!
Song Suggestions for the Ball
There will be an open forum for song suggestions to give to the DJ. Please submit songs from your culture or any favorites you’d like to hear to help make this event a fun experience for all!
