Speaker’s Bio
Ousmane Kabré is a professional with a multifaceted career spanning accounting, leadership development, and technology. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting. Ousmane began his professional journey at EY (formerly Ernst & Young) in the Milwaukee Office, dedicating three years to Assurance Services. At EY, he specialized in sectors including manufacturing, retail, and software, and earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Before his tenure at EY, Ousmane honed his skills as a Budget & Financial Analyst intern at American Family Insurance for two years. During this time, he also showcased his leadership abilities as the Wisconsin School of Business representative in the student government. Ousmane’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to societal change led him to establish Leading Change Africa, an organization dedicated to transforming young Africans into leaders and leaders into agents of change. Beyond his accomplishments in finance and leadership, Ousmane brings a unique perspective with his background in computer science. He currently holds the position of Founder & CEO of Leading Change Africa and Yam Education, Inc., an EdTech platform that provides access to U.S.-licensed community college associate degrees, diplomas and certificates to global learners. Ousmane Kabré’s diverse expertise and dynamic leadership style make him a multifaceted professional, equally adept in the worlds of accounting, technology, and social entrepreneurship.
