Are you fascinated by Africa? Or just like to volunteer? Consider volunteering for Day in Africa on Thursday, April 19, 2018.
Day in Africa brings together high school students from across Wisconsin to explore the languages and cultures of Africa in sessions led by UW-Madison faculty, students, and staff. This year’s event will feature a variety of interactive sessions, encouraging students to have fun as they expand their knowledge of the arts, music, and culture of many parts of the African continent.
We will need all kinds of volunteers, so whether you are people-friendly, have photographic skills or know how to run a digital projector, we need you!
Volunteer are needed from 8:30am to 1pm on Thursday, April 19 in the Union South. You can choose to volunteer for the whole time or part of the time (For example – 8:30-10:30am or 10:30-1pm).
Check out the program to see which sessions might interest you most, and send an email to outreach@africa.webhosting.cals.wisc.edu.
