Each semester, the International Internship Program hosts a variety of events and opportunities. See the full schedule below.
Opportunities
Internships are listed on the IIP Database (Net ID needed to log in). It is strongly encouraged that students watch the “Getting Started” video to learn about the database & other resources.
Advising
Walk-in advising hours are held in 252 Bascom Hall on Fridays from 10am-1pm. Appointments can also be scheduled at any time.
Deadlines
The general deadline for IIP spring internships is Sunday, October 7. Students interested in academic credit for an independently-found international internship through the Worldwide Internship Program (WIP) must apply by Friday, October 5.
Students who want to do an international internship but do not have the details finalized or have not been accepted yet by October 5th should still apply for WIP by the deadline if they want credit.
Summer and fall internship deadlines are in February and March; students are encouraged to plan ahead during the fall 2018 semester.
Scholarships
Many scholarship deadlines for spring internships are in early or mid-October. Students taking the WIP course are eligible for IAP scholarships (deadline September 24 & October 15), IIP’s need-based WIP grant (deadline October 15), and other campus scholarships.
