The Jean Monnet Network, the United Nations University for Peace, the UNECA Conference Center, and the EU Delegation to the African Union have organized an international conference titled “Africa Towards Sustainable Development – Eurafrica, Chinafrica, or … Africa?”
The conference will be held at the UN Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on May 28-29 of this year, and is one of a series of three conferences under the thematic umbrella ‘Jean Monnet – 30 Years of Excellence in European Studies.’ The core theme of this conference series is the potential for a collaborative African-European-Chinese approach to expanding sustainable economic and industrial development in Africa. The Jean Monnet Network invites any proposals that analyze topics linked to this theme.
