The Africa Studies Program is planning our annual DAY IN AFRICA, a high school outreach program where Wisconsin students visit campus to explore a variety of Africa-related topics in sessions led by UW-Madison faculty, students, and staff.
We invite you to develop an interactive presentation at DAY IN AFRICA on Thursday, April 19, 2018.
The goal of DAY IN AFRICA is to inspire interest in studying Africa and its languages. A presentation at DAY IN AFRICA is your opportunity to introduce high school students to your region or area of expertise and to encourage further exploration of these topics.
For more information about the design of this year’s DAY IN AFRICA event, please read our call for presentations, or contact the DAY IN AFRICA conference organizer, Lauren Parnell Marino (outreach@africa.webhosting.cals.wisc.edu)
