For the first time ever, the University of Wisconsin-Madison will celebrate Middle Eastern North African Heritage Month this April. With a committee of over 15 passionate individuals, MENA Heritage Month is dedicated to the various students on campus with origins spanning across Morocco to Iran, and more. Deeper than an “Arab” centric month, the committee’s goal is to celebrate the vast socio-political, religious, linguistic, customs and cultures of the MENA region.
