AFRICA 277: CALL FOR SPRING SEMESTER TA APPLICATIONS

The African Studies Program seeks teaching assistants for Africa 277: An Introductory Survey. This interdisciplinary course is cross-listed in African Cultural Studies, Afro-American Studies, Anthropology, Geography, History, Political Science, and Sociology.

DUTIES
TAs will manage course communications with students, lead discussion sections, keep records, assist with all grading, and carry out other duties requested by the course instructor.

APPOINTMENT LEVEL 
50% TA (~$10,250 stipend + tuition remission)

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be UW-Madison graduate students in good standing, making normal progress toward a degree, specializing in the study of Africa in any department, with life and preferably research experience in Africa.
